Terms & Conditions for Pollocks Toy Museum Online Shop

Welcome to the Pollocks Toy Museum online shop. By browsing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Pollocks Toy Museum is a trading name of Pollocks Toy Museum Trust, registered charity no. 313622 in England and Wales.

3. Ordering from Us

Your Status

To place an order, you confirm that:

  • You’re legally capable of entering a contract;
  • You’re at least 18 years old.

How the Contract is Formed

When you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirming we received it. This doesn’t mean your order is accepted. A contract is only formed when we send you an email confirming your order has been dispatched.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices include VAT (where applicable).
  • Delivery charges are listed at checkout and included in your confirmation.
  • We accept payment via PayPal, including cards such as Mastercard and Visa.

We do our best to list accurate prices. If there’s an error, we’ll contact you to confirm before dispatch.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Unless otherwise stated, we’ll deliver within 30 days of your Dispatch Confirmation. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated.

6. Returns and Your Right to Cancel

Changed Your Mind?

You have 14 days from the day after you receive your order to cancel, for any reason. This is your legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To Cancel:

  • Email us at info.pollockstoymuseum@gmail.com.
  • Return the item in its original condition at your own cost
  • We’ll refund you in full (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned item

Item Faulty or Not As Described?

If something is wrong with your order, let us know right away. We’ll cover the return costs and offer a full refund or replacement.

These policies do not affect your statutory rights.

7. Risk and Ownership

You are responsible for the item from the moment it’s delivered. You only own it once we receive full payment.

8. Import Duties (for International Orders)

If you order from outside the UK, you may need to pay customs duties or taxes. These are your responsibility. Please check your local rules before ordering.

9. Liability

We’re responsible for delivering items that match their description and are of satisfactory quality.

We’re not liable for:

  • Loss of income, business, or data;
  • Delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. strikes, natural disasters).

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything we are not legally allowed to exclude.
